Standard: Standard Membership provides full privileges to the club, reciprical privilages at other yacht clubs, voting rights, and parking privilages. This membership is offered to members and their spouses. Dues are $70 a month.

Mariners: This membership class applies to individuals who are current members of recognized sailing clubs or sailing schools. This non-voting membership class offers participants full use of SSYC clubhouse and facilities. Call regarding fees and dues for this type of membership.

Non Resident: This membership class is available to individuals whose primary residence, principal place of business, or whose yachts or boats are permanently kept more than 55 miles from the SSYC clubhouse. Call regarding fees and dues for this type of membership.

Racing Skipper: This membership class is available to capable racing skippers (age 20-36) who will represent SSYC in racing activities. Skippers must own, charter, or actively sail a yacht in the Newport Harbor vicinity. Call regarding fees and dues for this type of membership.

Racing Crew: This membership applies to individuals who do not own and skipper their own yachts but actively sail on yachts owned by standard members. This membership class has a maximum duration of three years and easily upgradeable to a standard membership. Call regarding fees and dues for this type of membership.

Honorary: This membership is awarded exclusively by the SSYC Board of Directors. This membership class is honored for a full year and typically expires on the last day of the year granted.
